Located in Hansol, 9 km from the northern Ahmedabad, the airport was renamed in honour to the Prime Minister of India Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

Sabarmati Ashram is another must-see attraction, definetely. It was one of the residences of Mahatma Gandhi, where he lived during 12 years with his wife, and also partly a museum. In 1930, it started the famous Dandi March from Sabarmati Ashram.
